Reference material produced for calibrating instruments:
- 18,500 cow milk samples
- 2,000 sheep milk samples
- 1,400 goat milk samples
- 1,500 buffalo milk samples
- 12,300 somatic cell samples
Certified reference material produced for analytical control:
- 400 samples of powdered milk for determining protein
totals in accordance with the Kjeldahl method;
- 1,400 samples of heat-treated milk for determining urea.
Liquid analysis:
- 800 tests of protein totals following the reference method
FIL-IDF 20B (1993) (Kjeldahl);
- 800 tests of fat following the reference method FIL-IDF
1D (1996) (Röse Gottlieb).
Analytical quality within the laboratory is constantly checked
by evaluating the results arriving at the laboratory and by
participation in ring tests organised at international level
by: CECALIT, ICAR, MUVA, AFEMA, BUNDESANSTALT FUR MILCHFORSCHUNG.
