Reference material produced for calibrating instruments:

18,500 cow milk samples

2,000 sheep milk samples

1,400 goat milk samples

1,500 buffalo milk samples

12,300 somatic cell samples

Certified reference material produced for analytical control:

400 samples of powdered milk for determining protein totals in accordance with the Kjeldahl method;

1,400 samples of heat-treated milk for determining urea.

Liquid analysis:

800 tests of protein totals following the reference method ISO 8968-1-IDF20-1:2014 (Kjeldahl);

800 tests of fat following the reference method ISO 1211:2010-IDF 001:12010 (Röse Gottlieb).

Analytical quality within the laboratory is constantly checked by evaluating the results arriving at the laboratory and by participation in ring tests organiZed at international level by: CECALAIT, ICAR, MUVA, AFEMA, BUNDESANSTALT FUR MILCHFORSCHUNG.
