Laboratorio Standard Latte owned by Italian Association Breeders has the institutional duty  to coordinate the analytical activities operated by laboratories making up the laboratory network of the breeders associations, which perform milk analysis control.

Laboratorio Standard Latte produces, organizes and commercializes Reference Materials and Proficiency Test  on Milk, milk products and forages.

Every proficiency test (PT), purchased by LSL, is organized, and managed in compliance with the ISO 17043; statistical analysis is performed in compliance with to the international standards ISO 13528 and/or ISO 5725-2.
LSL is accredited by Accredia (PTP n.0023).

Accredia releases the accreditation once verified technical and managerial competences of the organizer of proficiency test schemes. The list of the accredited PT schemes is available on www.accredia.it at the section DATABANKS/Accreditations/Proficiency testing providers.

Accredia Mark is the formal declaration of the competence, independence, and impartiality of the Proficiency Testing provider by the National Accreditation Body.

Accredia Mark doesn’t means that Accredia accepts responsibility for the quality of the products/inspections, or for any opinion or interpretation that may derive from it, or that Accredia gives any approval to a product/inspection.
