For AIA being alongside of livestock
breeders means first of all to provide all
the instruments to run as best their own farm in full compliance with national
and international regulations in force.
AIA works on the procedures set up to manage animal performance
recording, herd books and anagraphical registers keeping, the cornerstone of
our institutional activity.
AIA’s strength is also given by its
22 milk laboratories across Italy, as well as genetic testing laboratories
coordination for many animal species. These tasks are closely related to the
control in force to guarantee the correct operation of milking machines, but
also to the analysis of the milk samples as preparatory aspects to animal
health and food safety.
AIA provides a range of essential
skills to guarantee the necessary competitiveness to our breeders and, at the
same time, make available AIA’s knowledge, experience and methodological
transparency to all consumers
